Want to make a Wellington Boot Rudolf Christmas decoration unlike any other? An overwhelming holiday ornament that You Can help worship.

To make a Rudolf Welly you should ...
4 pairs of Wellies age children. Unless you are the best friend of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, I suggest you look Wellies local in their trunk. You can pick up older children rubber boots around 20p to 75p. Do not be afraid to haggle. Try to choose Wellies have not put a picture on the side, since this will be shown in later Rudolf. I Wellies size 10, 10, 7 and 3 (child sizes UK) Get what can only seek a Wellies similar size.

You also need to ...
Thick cardboard (the side of a grocery box is ideal) gold Spray Paint, string, newspaper, 2 stones of glass, a red Christmas ornament, and timebond Evo-Stick adhesive glue or other adhering rubber.

First, give a good wash Wellies. Glue and Custom Paint stick properly with the dirt on the road.

Organize RUDOLFA's legs.
Use the smallest pair of rubber boots for the front legs. Stand the boots side by side and make two small holes in the boots on both the inside of the leg. The holes in the boots need to line. Apply some glue to stick the boots together some string and thread through the holes to tie the boots together for extra support. Keep tapping and Ting invisible chain to do so within boots. It's a bit of a fiddle, but is important.

Using a pair of size 10 boots for the hind legs. Put your heels together and toes apart, just enough to nest the forelegs in between. Make holes ready for tying the boots together as one and the tail of the hind legs together at the heel and forelegs wherever they touch. Ate safety boots with an invisible rope inside.

Welly structure Leave to dry for 24 hours before continuing.

To make RUDOLFA tuffty back and bottom, take a size 10 boot and cut it down the seam in a straight line. If you use a knife for this part to be very careful not to cut. Cut a triangle wedge from the heel of the boot. This is to remove the hard rubber that forms the heel, because it is too stiff to work.

Back Rudolf Paste in your legs.
Open the split that is cut into the back of the boot and slot over the top of the legs with the toe of the boot upward again. Take the top edge of the back boot round to the front legs. Make small holes in these corner flaps and the front Wellies at the top stick and boot back into place and thread string through the holes he has done and tie securely. These knots will be on the outside of the structure, but it is more forward.

The neck and lower head.
With the other size 10 boot, cut the back seam of the boot again but this time only reduced to the top of the configuration of healing. Turn the boot upside down and reopened the division, the slot to boot from the top of the front legs, with shaping the heel resting on the back of Rudolf. Glue in place and anchor parcel tape to hold the position until the glue dries. You can find Rudolf helps make dry for 24 hours in size. Remove the tape once the glue dries.

Rudolf's head.
With a size of 7 Welly cut the front and rear of the seams welly to the top of the heel and foot shaping. Ear short forms of the two flaps you just created.

Cut two antlers simple but with pieces of thick cardboard. Do not put the corners of the structure of cardboard and cut out the horns. Make the antlers wider at the bottom, this support will help the horns later.

Push the antlers start the "head" so that the base of the horn touches the sole of his boot. Crease a piece of newspaper and push it between the antlers to separate and to fit a in

Make small trailer cuts to form an 'X' at the tip of his boot and cut the fins the X away to make a circle ready to add the nose later.

Paste the top of the head of Rodolfo, with the rest of the structure and let dry.
Paint gold reindeer. Read the back of the paint can and follow the advice of manufacture how to use the spray paint. Give the reindeer a coupe Layers of paint and make sure you cover all the nooks and crannies.
When the paint dries completely, pull the end off the Christmas bauble and paste into your site with the stork trinket pushed through the hole in the nose RUDOLFA's. Finally, stick two glass stones in place for Rudolf's eyes.

Rudolf can be extended to make a garden decoration using adult rubber boots. Place a brick or stone on the inside of each of Rudolf's feet to prevent it from falling over or blowing away in the wind.
Due to the size of adult boots are different boots for Children, a Rudolf hind legs large can be placed in a similar way to the front legs.

The painting and the use of a small ball of the nose. Half and paint a ping-pong ball for fashion eye and antlers of wire hangers and unite with tinsel.

How do I know if my O Gauge Lionel Train Set is pre-war and post-war?

I think it's pre-war, because my father had bought it used in 1947. I have an engine, Coal Car, 2 cars and a caboose. Passenger Cars have lights inside and I remember, you can do something for the engine puffs of smoke from the chimney. Thank you for your help!

You need to contact Greenburg's If cars are metal then it is a Very Good chance they were before the war. NMRA railway many who could possibly give you an answer based on the number side of the engine.

Northern Caboose
Northern Caboose

Fishing has been in my blood for almost 50 years. As a child of 4 and 5 years old I remember riding the train from Union Station in Toronto, heading north for 4 hours through farmland, then trees and shrubs and rock to my dad's hometown of Britt, Ontario. Britt was a bit lazy town in the tea-colored Magnetawan river flowing west of the Georgian Bay (Lake Huron). There were coal docks, CPR, the Catholic church and I think everyone was somehow my relative there. Later we take our family van and it was rare that we do not spend much time there each summer.

My Dad told us stories of dancing pike, Muskies nearly 6 feet long and Pickeral (bulging eyes) to fill the freezer in the kitchen table. We dream of latching on to 15 pounds or 20 and be the hero, as my cousin Rino when he took a big Muskie in a cable of the hand and walked around town in the back of an old Chevy convertible.

Alfonso's uncle, dad's older brother will have dad, my brother Boboosh (my grandfather was called and the name stuck), my cousin Louis and I in the river in his motor boat and if we had enough time would wander Georgian Bay out to the 30,000 islands in search of smallmouth bass. Before departure, we will stop at the marina and stock up on chocolate bars and pop and parents would get their "Black Label beer. We were living on the edge.

The men fish the river for Muskie, pike and walleye as downstream controlled thousands of rock islands created within the famous Canadian shield and dotted the large water intake. Sometimes he let us troll but always seemed to get gear lousy fishing because ours always ended in a death tangle that even the most patient fisherman cursed.

I am very happy that Uncle Al knew your way around the islands, because I could never imagine the labyrinth through which we took. It was really cool when we were big enough, that we were the dump our own island, and take of chunky smallmouth bass for hours. If it was just too hot to go swimming in lingerie and fake being bitten by a pike murderer enormous.

When we got home to see my uncle clean all fish except for my dad because "he could clean his own damn fish. "We laughed and challenge to put the guts of fish with our bare hands or compressed in newspaper until Aunt Rina threatened us with a spoon wood.

Every year again, at least until I turned 15 and began working during the summers. We went with the stories of escalating the rocks or the conquest of some poor porcupine sleeping in the old caboose that CPR entrusted to my uncle. Now that I think was probably his office.

I learned to love fishing because the people around me loved fishing. It was a challenge, that make it fun. We always left wanting to come back for more. These memories I took to fatherhood with tales of my own to share with my son. Who have fallen away, but now we hope to meet each year to roll around and tell stories that never have shared 10 years ago.

Fishing is special to me. I anticipate each new season with the same passion that I remember the past. It's something I've learned to enjoy myself, but I'd rather share the experience with anyone as much as I love, but never seem to catch as many as I!

Dave Ouellette lives in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada and has been fishing for almost 50 years. During his 25 years in Kamloops he has fished over 100 lakes in the Kamloops Region alone. He currently operates an outdoor activity site at http://www.best-in-british-columbia.com that focuses on the Best Fly Fishing Lakes in the BC Interior.

Why the railways has not used sometimes 2 or three cabooses on trains?

I looked and never really found an answer. But I have this image of a Burlington Northern train, which had 3 cars at the tail end. I know a caboose before eliminated were mainly used as the rear brakes, and even transfers of credits short today, the Elgin, Joliet Eastern & uses a caboose on some trips. But why would there be to use 3 on a train? People have given me the information I better understanding of why they did that. I would also note this photo was of a standard BN Coal Drag with 3 vans tail at the rear. most likely to be pooled back into BN Cicero, Chicago court.

The cabooses were deadheaded probably be somewhere. It was not uncommon to see several cabooses occupied in the service of the snow, carrying personnel maintaining Thus, the lineman. maintenance signals, workers, etc., because these people were in high demand in the blizzards, fighting to keep the open line. But by 1900, the Westinghouse automatic air brakes had been around 28 years and need to be on top of equipment (and a van) lasted until the early 1970s, even roof walks away quickly, as did survive Employment of "swing" brakemen, but their number had been reduced by 5 to 3. All made the way of the dodo ...
