Oil Pump
I'm looking to buy a 1997 Chevy Blazer, and it needs a oil pump because its going and it is able to drive able home. So I was gonna bring it home and purchase the part and install it myself. To get the the oil pump u have to remove the oil pan. But, I know on some vehicles u have to lift them motor to remove the bolts on the oil pan. So i was just wondering if anyone knew if you have to lift the motor to get to it. Thank You.
Call a chevy service dept. and ask before you do something not necessary by following some shade tree mechanics advise.
