Steam Locomotives
I mean for like special occasions?
Because I look for photos and videos of the Orient Express being pulled by a handsome looking European Steam Locomotive either from France, Austria, or Switzerland even Italy.
So do the have steam locomotives pull the Orient express for special occasions?
Yes, the Venice-Simplon Orient Express still does use steam locomotives for special runs.

Railroad Catalog
Instead of having a briefcase full of catalogs and mail-order forms all he had was a message for you. The message goes something like this:
If there were multiple roads to paradise and you could only choose one which one would you choose? Some roads are gold, some paved, cobblestone, dirt and the fastest one is the railroad. You Can get to paradise anyway you wish but keep in mind all you have is time. How do you spend your time? Will you love yourself [more] or will you share your love with all. Would you give up your seat on the train? Would you finish first just to be alone? or Would you carry the world on your back?
Do you have my back or do I have yours? I'm not Mormon... ZindoBsway lmfao I couldn't help it I'm sorry...... lol
I would probably find someone to travel with. Someone who encourages me, and I can encourage. Someone who cares and to care for. Someone who would rather see me finish than to finish themselves, while feeling the same way about them. Someone who would grow to hate my quirks, learn to live with them, and miss them when I leave. Perhaps we'd even bring a few more travelers along, teach them and help them find a road that works for them. I can only imaging the roads fork infinitely. Each fork would represent a complex arrangement between all travelers, and ultimately alter their choices. Some would fear the end of the journey, some would relish it. I would chose a path based on the choices at hand and the desires and thoughts of my fellow travelers. But, I've always enjoyed the scenic route.

Pacific Train
UP's 844 is a High Speed passenger locomotive. It was delivered to the UP in 1944. After 1960 UP kept her in service making special occasion runs. Around 2001 844 was pulled out of service for a major overhaul. She has been running since 2005.
UP has another famous steamer in service, Challenger 3985. This articulated monster has a 4-6-6-4 wheel arrangement. It was delivered to the UP in 1943 and was used to haul fast freight. At about 900,000 pounds, 3985 cruised at about 70MPH, occasionally pulling passenger trains. It used to burn coal, but UP converted it to oil. After it was retired in the late 50's, it sat in storage until it was restored by UP employees, who volunteered their time. 3985 ran again after 1981.
There are many other operating steam locomotives in the United States. Milwaukee Road's 261 operates out of Minneapolis. Illinois Railway Museum has several steamers under restoration. Steamtown in northeatern Pennsylvania obviously runs steam. Southern Pacific's 4449 is running out west. Grand Canyon Railroad operates steam, but I think it is being rebuilt right now. Motive power is provided by Alco PA's, which are a treat to see, too.
